Need a shirt for Read Across America Week? We have some spirit wear on hand for anyone who would like to purchase. Get your orders in! You can find what you need in the PTA store.

REQUEST FROM SCHOOL NURSE

Our School Nurse has requested the following: girls and boys pants in new/gently used condition sizes suitable for K-2 students, new underwear in sizes suitable for K-2 students. Please send items to school in a bag labeled "NURSE." She is particularly in need of sizes 5-7 of boys and girls pants. If you have any questions, please reach out to jfleischmann@chclc.org. Thank you! 

BOOK SMILES DRIVE FOR READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK

Our Book Smiles bin is located in the foyer for students to drop off books. Can you help us fill the bin up with books that are no longer needed? We’d like to donate a bin full of books to http://booksmiles.org to “help irrigate book deserts!”

Book Smiles will accept new and gently used children's books.  Please, no weeded library books/library discards.

  • Ages infant through high school

  • Fiction and Nonfiction (please, no encyclopedia, reference books, or religiously themed books)

  • Donate children's books that you would be proud to give to a child.

  • Please, no old books that smell musty, have been scribbled in, or that have yellowed over time.

  • Please, no torn covers/pages. 

FAMILY FUN BOWLING NIGHT

We are looking forward to a fun filled evening on March 10, 2023 for Cooper’s Family Fun Bowling Night at The Big Event in Cherry Hill. Please submit your forms ASAP as we need to provide a lane count to the bowling alley next week. We will try to accommodate everyone we can. If you have any questions please contact kristin.podolsky@jfcooperpta.org. We will be assigning lanes and will let you know which lane you are at the night of the event.

DONATION REQUEST

We are looking for playsets and toys that can be kept outside in a fenced area for our students with special needs to play with. If you are interested in donating anything, gently used or new, please send a photo or description of the item(s) to president@chclc.org so we can see if the school can use it.

STEAM FAIR
We would love for as many families as possible to participate in our STEAM Fair on April 20th. Please see the STEAM Fair Info Packet that was sent home on blue paper. Fill out the STEAM Fair Registration Form by March 31st so we can prepare for this fun-filled evening!

NOMINATING COMMITTEE & BOARD ROLES

The following roles are up for election for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years: VP of Ways and Means, VP of Events, and Secretary. The roles are for 2 year terms.

Nomination/Self-Nomination Forms will be released shortly. Elections will be held on May 24, 2023. If you are interested in any of these positions we encourage you to fill a form out.

CLOTHING BIN

Our clothing bin in the parking lot brings in $80 a month for our school. Remember, if the bin is full, please stop by again after a few days. It is emptied on Tuesdays. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped keep the area around the bin clear.

AMAZON SMILE UPDATE

In case you are not aware, the Amazon Smile program has ended. We thank all of the families who participated in the program to help us raise money for our school!


RAISERIGHT - Help Us Earn $$ for Field Trips!!

Thank you to everyone who is participating in our RaiseRight program. If you are, you know that this is not a gimmick. You receive exactly what you pay for and our school receives between 2.5-21% in rewards on top of that!! It is literally free money for our school. 

Order in the RaiseRight app with enrollment code L293995764473. Your payment info is safe, private, and secure on the website. You can link a bank account or mark “Pay the Coordinator Directly” in the app and pay via check (made payable to J.F. Cooper PTA). 

Our next group order for physical gift cards will be placed on Tuesday, March 7th. You will not have to pay for shipping. Please place your order in the app by then! Remember, e-gift cards are available immediately if you’re using the app or as soon as we receive your check.


A printable order form is available on our PTA website. E-mail Bridget at bridget.moore@jfcooperpta.org if you have any questions or concerns. We do not send these home with the students - they are handed/delivered to you.
