Dear Parents/Guardians & Staff,
First of all, welcome to all *NEW* families! And welcome back to all families who have been here before! We hope you've had a wonderful summer! School is just around the corner and we have some exciting things planned for the year! You'll find some important information below. This information will also be provided to students in an envelope on the first day of school.
- The PTA is a nonprofit organization. PTA members advocate for our students, support programs and activities at Cooper, and through their dues are also members of the the state and national PTA. Become a member of our local PTA online for 2021-2022! Our goal is to have 100% of Cooper families included! Here is the membership flyer if you'd like to send in your dues by check.
- We are looking for volunteers for the 2021-2022 school year. Please take a look at and fill out the Parent Volunteer Form if interested! You will be contacted soon about how you can help this year.
- If you ordered school supplies at the end of the last school year, your orders are at school and they will be on your child's desk on the first day of school! No need to pick it up!
- Are you still looking for school supplies? See the classroom school supply lists on the J.F. Cooper Elementary School website.

- Join us for our Back to School Water Ice Social on Friday, 9/10 from 6:30pm - 8pm outside at school! All families are invited! Meet old friends and make new ones!
- We are excited to be selling mums from Powell's Greenhouse this year! Please see our PTA Mum Sale flyer and share with friends and family. Orders are due to school by 9/15. Mums will be available for pick up from school on 10/1.
- The PTA Store is open! See our Spirit Wear and Spirit Socks flyers. Orders are due to school by 9/24 (cash or check) or you may order online (convenience fee applies).
- Mark your calendar for our first Take Out Tuesday of the school year: On the Border - 9/28 from 11am - 10pm
- Join us at our first PTA meeting on 9/29 from 7pm - 8pm. Agenda and meeting information will be posted here in September! Come meet fellow parents and learn more about what's happening at school.

- We’d love your photos from the first day of school for this year’s yearbook! If you already have a TreeRing account, please log in and submit your photos! If you do not yet, go to https://tr5.treering.com/validate and use passcode: 1014806030344299
- You can e-mail Back to School and First Day of School photos to notification.photos.199135514@treeringphotos.com and it will go directly into the folder. You can also send them to yearbook@jfcooperpta.org.
- Pre-Order the yearbook for only $17! You may submit the 2021-2022 Yearbook Pre-Order form to avoid extra convenience fees or login to TreeRing and place your order directly!
