• Our school nurse has requested the following: girls and boys pants in new/gently used condition sizes suitable for K-2 students, new underwear in sizes suitable for K-2 students. Please send to school in a marked marked "NURSE." Thank you!
•  Room parents have sent home letters to all families. Please respond ASAP. Thank you!
• Take Out Tuesday - MOD Pizza - Tuesday, October 26th (all day)
• Download the TreeRing app to submit any photos for the yearbook easily.

• CHPS is in need of teachers, long term substitutes, educational assistants, School Age Child Care (SACC) workers, substitute school nurse.  Job Descriptions and applications can be found through this portal.

• For daily substitute positions (teacher or educational assistant) apply at www.ess.com

• Aramark applications are available through Aramark's online portal.

• All Families Are Asked to Complete Free & Reduced Price Meals Application

• All families are encouraged to complete an application for free and reduced price school meals as soon as possible. The application may be found and completed on our PaySchools Central Website.

• Even though the district is providing free meals to all students throughout the 2021-2022 academic school year, the application for free and reduced price school meals is used to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits, state funding, and additional government benefits.

• Meetings Regarding Improvements for CHPS Schools Scheduled for October & November

• Improvement plans for every school building in the district are now underway, as the district plans for the Bond Referendum vote in the fall of 2022.

• The needs of our elementary school buildings will be presented at each schools' regularly scheduled PTA meetings in October or November. Each elementary school will provide the dates and times of their meetings.

• In-person meetings and tours about the needs of our middle and high schools will take place at 7 pm in the schools' Media Centers on the following dates:

• Cherry Hill High School West: October 13, 2021

• Cherry Hill High School East: October 19, 2021

• Beck Middle School: October 27, 2021

• Rosa Middle School: November 15, 2021

• Carusi Middle School: November 16, 2021

• Tuesday, October 12, 2021 - Board of Education Committee of the Whole Meeting, 6:30 pm at Cherry Hill High School West. The agenda is available online. In-person attendees are required to wear masks at all times. A virtual option is available to all. Details online.

Scholastic Book Fair Information

Book Fair Week: Monday, October 18 - Friday, October 22

Family Night: Wednesday, October 20 from 7:30-8:30pm

Online Shopping: Monday, October 18 - Sunday, October 31

We are so excited! Our Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! Our Book Fair will be offering books from $2 and up. The flyer attached allows you to preview some of the many books available. There will also be posters, bookmarks, pencils, journals, etc. for sale. The majority of non-book items will be available on Family Night for you to peruse. Photos of our fair will be available on our PTA website the evening of Friday, October 15th. See our book fair page here: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/jfcooperbookfair

See your child’s schedule below! If your child will be purchasing any books, please send in cash or check made payable to J.F. Cooper PTA in an envelope or plastic bag with their name, what they would like to purchase, and any special instructions from you to their volunteer helper (see slip attached to flyer). You will receive change and a receipt back. Please do not send a blank check. 

You can also set up an e-wallet for your child so they do not have to carry money to school. Note that any leftover e-wallet funds will remain in your account for future Scholastic purchases. Scholastic will not credit the card you use to load funds as they did in the past. Therefore, please only load what you’d like your child to spend anytime during the week. We won’t have the capability to refund the difference. See this video about e-wallets. 

If you’d like to shop with your child, please join us on Family Night. Teachers’ Wish List Baskets will be on display all week if you and your child would like to donate a book to the classroom. All students who donate will receive a book plate sticker for the teacher. 

Look for your flyer this week to pre-order the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book! Orders are due by Oct 20th.
