Dear Cooper Families,

We made it to the end of the school year! Thank you so much for all of your support and words of encouragement this Spring. We hope all families have a safe, fun, and happy summer.

Congratulations to all families that celebrated a 5th grade Jaguar moving up this week! We wish nothing but success for everyone as they move on to 6th grade!

First Day of School Supplies

If anyone is interested in purchasing school supply kits for September please visit https://1stdayschoolsupplies.com/kits.php?sid=66538 to place an order. Kits will be delivered to school and your child will receive it on the first day of school. Please order by July 1st if interested. If you have questions, please contact Amanda LeeMasci at amanda.leemasci@jfcooperpta.org. Please note school supply kits are offered as a courtesy. You are welcome to purchase supplies on your own.

Yearbook

Just because this wasn’t a normal year doesn’t mean we couldn’t have a yearbook filled with photos! Masks, Zoom, Google Classroom, and social distancing took the forefront in our 60 page yearbook this year… but so did learning! You can purchase a yearbook from the office or have it shipped to your home. Cookbook

If someone would still like to purchase the 50th Anniversary Cooper Cookbook, please send an e-mail to jfcoopercookbook@gmail.com with the quantity you are interested in purchasing. We have 2 copies left. If we run out, you can place your name on the waitlist and you will be contacted in the Fall if we decide to place a reprint order.

Summer PTA Planning

We are looking for volunteers and chairs for next year! Please fill out this volunteer form if interested.

This summer, the PTA board will be meeting to plan next year’s schedule, drafting the budget, and updating the standing rules and bylaws. If you would like to provide your input on any of these items, please reach out. Note the following 2021-2022 PTA board contact information:

Zone PTA Fair Funding Friday - June 11, 2021

Tomorrow's the day...Fair Funding Friday! Zone PTA Fair Funding Friday is June 11, 2021!  The more voices they hear the more impact we will have as a district! Just imagine if 50% of the parents in the district made a phone call, sent an email, or both, legislators would hear from possibly 4,000-5,000 CHPS parents...what a message WE would be sending!!  Every phone call and email counts to ensure CHPS is fully funded at $24.7million!!!  Together WE can make a difference for our schools and community!  THANK YOU!
