Interested in Filling an Open Board of Education Seat?
One seat on the Cherry Hill Board of Education will be open beginning in January 2022. The person filling this seat will be completing the final year of the seat being vacated by Board member Carol Matlack.
Interested applicants should send a letter of interest and resume by 4 pm on January 13, 2022 to Assistant Superintendent Business/Board Secretary Lynn Shugars, 45 Ranoldo Terrace, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or lshugars@chclc.org
Board discussion on the applicants will take place in executive session on January 18, and interviewees will be selected.
On January 25, interviews will be conducted in a public session prior to the Board Action Meeting using a “candidate forum” format. Deliberation and consensus will be sought in executive session on the candidate to be appointed on February 8, 2022.
The appointment and introduction of the new board member will take place at the Board Work Session on February 8, 2022.
