Cherry Hill Zone PTA Community Updates 2/22/21



 

  • A reminder for families to complete the survey FOR EACH CHILD in the Genesis portal, indicating whether the parents will commit to sending their child to school 4 days per week beginning March 9, 2021 or commit to having them on full virtual instruction. The survey will be open from Monday, February 22, 2021 through Saturday, February 27, 2021.

  • Rosa Middle School OPEN Enrollment Applications for the 2021-2022 school year deadline is 11:00 pm on February 26, 2021.  


  • School Age Child Care (SACC) registration for the 2021-2022 school year begins May 3, 2021. Full information is available on the School Age Child Care & STEP page of the District website.

  • CDC Issues Guidance for Safely Reopening Schools The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new and lengthy guidance for how to safely reopen schools for in-person learning—the first issued under the Biden administration and one school leaders across the country have been long awaiting as they grapple over what's become the most contentious political debate of the coronavirus pandemic. Read the article. The CDC guidance was accompanied by the Department of Education handbook on strategies for reopening schools.
