Indoor Recess Donation Request

The school is always in need of extra materials for indoor recess when the weather gets cold. The PTA is collecting new or gently used board games/materials for the upcoming winter months (please make sure games have all the pieces if they are used). Examples of requested donations are:

Cooper's Literati Online Book Fair is NOW OPEN!

Reminder: Trunk or Treat 10/19/24 from 3-5pm

Dear Families,

This is a reminder about our Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 19th from 3-5pm. We have about 29 trunks participating!

The more trunks the merrier so please fill out the Trunk Registration Form by 6pm tomorrow, Friday, October 18th if you want to host a trunk. We are expecting around 200 children.

There will be separate lines for pre-ordered tickets and for walk-ins. We strongly recommend you pre-order so you and the kids can be on your way to the fun after you arrive. Tickets can be ordered online until 6pm on Friday, October 18th. After that, please purchase tickets at the event.

We still need some volunteers to help with set up, take 30 min bounce house shifts, help with tables, and clean up! Note: We cannot run bounce houses without volunteers. Please help or sign a spouse or partner up if you can! Volunteers for the bounce house need to be 18 or over. They just need to monitor for safety and make sure everyone has a wristband. If you know of anyone, please ask if they can help us out. Thank you!

Yearbook Pre-Order Discount, Custom Pages, and App

Hi Everyone,

We use the company TreeRing to create our yearbook each year for our K-5 yearbook. TreeRing plants 1 tree for every yearbook ordered. So far, 52 trees will be planted for this year already!

Pre-ordered books are $22.50 thanks to a 10% discount from TreeRing. If you haven't ordered yet, I highly encourage you to do so. The discount continues throughout October.

If you pre-order via the slip that was sent home in the welcome packet, you will save on tax.

Custom Pages

Logging in to your TreeRing account will also allow you to create your custom pages throughout the year (the first 2 are free so make sure you add them by May!). Custom pages only show up in YOUR OWN yearbook, not anyone else's -- so you and your kids can add vacation and family photos, answer all about me questions, add graphics, change backgrounds, write some stories or captions, and truly personalize it.

5th grade parents can also upload a baby photo of their child in the portal. We'd like all baby photos by October 31st.

For those that sent in their order in an envelope, your order has been added to TreeRing under your child's name.

Parents can also upgrade to hardcover in the portal.

Apple iPhones/iPads - We have a Treering Yearbooks app available in the Apple App Store.  You can upload photos, create custom pages, order your yearbook and much more when using the app.

Mobile Devices - You do not need to download and use the iOS or Android apps to use Treering on mobile devices. Anyone can access Treering using the mobile browser on their mobile device and have all the same functionality (including buying the book and creating custom pages). It is recommended that you download and use Chrome browser.

Open the browser to go to www.treering.com and use the menu button in the upper right corner to sign in or create your account.

 Note: Treering supports all HEIC files from all sources.

You can also go to Menu ---> School Life --> Yearbooks ... Scroll down to Customize, Complete the To-Do List, and order older yearbooks if you missed one!
